Kiroro Corp., a Delaware corporation d/b/a Sumo AI (“Sumo AI,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) values the privacy of individuals whose personally identifiable information we obtain. This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we obtain and use personally identifiable information.
This Privacy Policy applies only to our processing of information supplied by third-party providers and to information voluntarily submitted by job applicants.
Information We Collect
Information Third Parties Provide To Us.
We do not collect information directly from individuals, except for information that job applicants voluntarily provide when applying for roles at Sumo AI, as described below.
We collect aggregated personal information from third party providers, which we permanently de-identify and provide to third party recipients. Categories of this information may include, solely in aggregated and permanently de-identified form:
Broad demographic groupings (such as age ranges or regional groupings at a state or multi-state level)
High-level professional attributes (such as role categories, seniority bands, or industry classifications)
Aggregated usage or behavioral trends (such as frequency distributions or statistical summaries)
General technical characteristics (such as platform type or operating system category)
Other statistical or analytical data sets provided by third-party sources that cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual
We promptly permanently de-identify all personally identifiable information upon receipt, which means that the information has been processed to remove or irreversibly transform all personal identifiers and is not reasonably capable of being associated with, linked to, or re-identified as any specific individual or household. We do not retain original identifiers, maintain re-identification keys, or attempt to re-identify any data. We never share or sell personally identifiable information.
Careers: If you decide that you wish to apply for a job with us, you may submit your contact information and your resume online. We will collect the information you choose to provide on your resume, such as your education and employment experience. Personal information submitted by job applicants is used only for recruitment and evaluation purposes.
How We Use the Information We Collect
Sumo AI processes personal information supplied by thirdparty providers solely for the limited purpose of de-identifying and aggregating that information. We do not use personal information for any independent purposes, and we delete personal identifiers as soon as reasonably possible after receipt. We retain only aggregated and de-identified data.
We permanently de-identify all information that we receive from third party providers. We provide de-identified and aggregated information to artificial intelligence companies for purposes such as training, evaluating, and improving machine learning models, and developing new AI capabilities. All information is provided in a form that does not identify, and cannot reasonably be linked to, any individual. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the “CCPA/CPRA”).
Your Choices
We do not collect personally identifiable information directly from individuals or store any personally identifiable information. All personally identifiable information that we receive is from third party providers. If you have questions about how an entity collects or shares your personally identifiable information, you should contact that entity.
Once data has been permanently de-identified, it is no longer considered personal data under applicable privacy laws. However, certain laws, such as the CCPA/CPRA, may apply to the processing of personal information prior to de-identification.
